Attached: Extract 1 of 6.
Language: Spanish.
Voice and Text by Paola Ovando Peraza.

Through sound, the project asks: what does love feel like when stripped of common language? How does it echo across cultures, accents, and personal memory?

[he] handed the recorder to six Harvard GSD students, asking them to speak freely about love, but with one rule: no English. The result was a symphony of vulnerability across second languages, mother tongues, and emotional dialects.

The recordings became raw material for a sonic composition. Using Ableton, a Juno 106 synthesizer, ambient textures, and layered samples, I composed a musical piece that blurs the line between spoken word, memory, and synthesized emotion. It’s experimental, messy, melodic, and just maybe, a little bit romantic.
